Lila Flavin is a writer and psychiatrist.

 

Lila Flavin is board certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine. She is a psychiatrist in the Bridge Clinic and HOPE clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital and on faculty at Harvard Medical School.

Her writing has appeared in the American Journal of Psychiatry, The Examined Life, The Healer’s Burden and Stat News among other publications. She was a 2021 Rudin Medical Ethics and Humanities fellow.

She is a graduate of Princeton University, where she received her BA in psychology. She received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed psychiatry residency at NYU and addiction medicine fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

She has a private practice where she treats patients in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York.
